Hi! 

My name is Michael Sassano. I recently graduated from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo with a Bachelor of Science in Graphic Communication and a concentration in Design Reproduction Technologies. My passions lie in graphic design, marketing, photography, sports, and traveling.

Recently I was employed with Roopairs Technology Inc. where I was their graphic designer for all things social media related. This role provided significant insight and experience in researching products, creating and planning promotional materials and implementing a digital marketing plan.

Prior to working there, I worked for the Paso Robles Chamber of Commerce as their graphic design/web and digital media intern. In this position, I designed banners, flyers and promotional print materials for the Brew Paso Initiative for the Midstate Fair and Firestone Beer Festival. I also created the Brew Paso website page and was one of the contributors to the Paso Business site. I helped design magazine pages, power points and other business promotional materials. I love photography and quickly become one of their leading photographers. I photographed big events for their advertisements such as the Business Leader Summit, Growing with Google, and the Midstate Fair. I photographed wineries, local events, landmarks and areas of interest to include in promotional materials and magazines.

Outside of these two jobs, I volunteered for three years as part of Cal Poly’s New Student and Transition Programs.  I was the lead designer for Cal Poly’s Open House marketing team, was part of the marketing team for Cal Poly’s University Graphic Systems, spent time on the graphic design team for Cal Poly’s Campus Crusades, and was a photographer for Active Church.
